Ask them how something you’re discussing in class works in their culture.  If they can’t speak, do the research yourself and check with the student.

Invite international parents to show clothing and artifacts from the culture.

Have an international week at your school library and fill it with artifacts from the ESL students’ cultures.

Have the students teach the others simple words, like greetings and how to count to ten in their first language.
